can someone PLEASE start a list of sites that refuse to waste time/money/effort on developing for IE? i'm a standards developer (don't judge me by this rant!), xhtml strict is the way to go for me, and i'm tired of spending 30% of the time developing and 70% fixing for IE's lack of giving a shit about standards and others.

i would LOVE to not have to lose that time anymore, but i know unless there is some mass movement, i'd just be losing business/viewers. surely there are enough big players out there who feel the same way that we can make a difference. if nobody else steps up soon, ill just do it myself. help digg this to get the movement going. no ads here, no political propaganda (in a sense), just trying to make the world more productive and secure.

we can be like that guy who blocked firefox, but not backwards.

UPDATE:
WOW! 3rd on digg to a nude celeb and a fox news bashing, im honored! but now we need to quit saying and start doing. who will make this, or who will freely offer the resources for me to do it myself? (my servers can barely handle being dugg)

UPDATE 2:
corrected my waist/waste error, sorry, it was written in moment of anger! if someone could mirror this, that would be great, my webhost is probably going to be calling me soon...

UPDATE 3:
*kicking myself for not having adsense* j/k. thanks for the support everyone, we are close to being #1 on digg! we are growing faster than the others, so its a matter of time when this can become more than just something digg users will see. and to those who say that this post wont make a difference, i dont expect it to on its own. this is to get others on board and start small movements that will incite the larger change. i'm not a pioneer with this, i'm just going to try my hardest to get it to become reality.

UPDATE 4:
im going to have to stop with the updates here, but we are #1 on digg and still gaining momentum. the servers seem to be holding up pretty well. i guess i should give media temple the credit for that. if anyone has anything to say about this, message me through digg, the comments are just too hard to keep up with.

UPDATE 5:
ive got some great responses from people with the resources to try to tackle this. bookmark this page and check back with us in a few weeks or a few months, because i for one am going to try to do something, even if it never accomplishes the final goal, we can just raise public awareness.
